Isis
Isis is a stranger, a witch from out of town. Her magic is drawn from objects, cards and candles and a magical camera with which she takes haunting photographs. Now, however, her camera has turned on her, trapping her and the other characters inside their worst nightmares, and dooming three of them to die. Isis's sleep has never been easy, but in recent nights she has begun to see a menacing figure stalking her from the shadows...

Isis's deck is a good fit for experienced HeroCard players, as her cards have some tricky effects. Isis's attacks and blocks become stronger the more attacks and blocks she has in play, so while it takes her a little while to ramp up, she can eventually mount devastating attacks by leaving her own stats clogged.

Ritual of the Burning Soul:
Isis's base attacks and blocks are all fairly low numbers. Do not let that decieve you. Her combinations are as deadly as they are unexpected.
Soul Capture and Burn are your basic attack and attack mod. They're small, and Isis can afford to field several of them at once.
The trick is not to clear them, and let them accumulate over a couple of turns. Then, when your opponent least expects it, throw down an attack and Blood Rite.
Blood Rite counts every attack, attack mod, and special attack card you have in play. |
